Day 1: Arrive Sierpe
Arrival and check-in at the hotel in Sierpe river town.
Night tour: Alligator Encounter
After soaking up the unique atmosphere night of Sierpe, head to an alligator home in the river and mangrove to spend time with these magnificent animals, watch them finding food and learn about alligator conservation.
Day 2: Mangrove Tour in Sierpe & Stone Spheres
Weave through the labyrinth of canals in the Mangrove forest. The branches above create a canopy over the narrow waterways that provide the only access to the soaring trees. The sprouting roots reach down into the water and curve under the boat as if to bring you closer to the heart of the tree. Traveling through this private tunnel in the comfort of the seat of your boat, your guide specialized in animal and plant life. The canals are also home to an abundance of Caimans, Crocodiles, Boas, Iguanas, Turtles, Raccoons, Crabs, and Tree Frogs. In the treetops, looking for sloth and monkeys including the Howlers, White Faced Capuchins, and Squirrels.

After lunch, head out to an Archaeological site: Finca 6 museum. Here, learn some of the secrets of stone spheres in the Valley Diquís or Sierpe. It was chosen the set of pre-Columbian chiefdom settlements and stone spheres of Diquís as World Heritage. And declared it a national symbol of the country.

At night you can choose a topic tour between, frogs or snake. This include boat and nocturnal hike in Sierpe river.

Day 3: Birdwatching tour & Caño Island Snorkel
Start time: 5:00 a.m.
On this day you can enjoy a bird watching tour in the mangrove and river (sailing in a boat). You will have the chance to identify nearly 360 species of birds found in the forest, the shore of the river and mangrove. Including the mangrove hummingbird that is found nowhere else in the world!

After your breakfast and rest Our captain and guide will pick you up on the shore of Sierpe river (main town), this is how all trips requiring water transportation begin. Heading through the Sierpe river till the best snorkelling spot, Caño Island. There you can explore the colourful and rich underwater gardens surrounding.
Afterwards, enjoy lunch at San Josecito beach. Here, soaking in the sun, or swimming in clear waters for a slightly more relaxing experience. Later on, spend a peaceful hiking to Rio Claro. (30 minutes approximately).
Return time: 3:00 p.m (approximately)
Then, head to your hotel for a restful evening.
Day 4: Corcovado National Park
Corcovado with a Certified guide.
This full-day tour starts at 7:00 a.m., and returns at approximately 3:00 p.m.
San Pedrillo is the closest Corcovado National Park Ranger Station to Sierpe town. The arrival at the beach location of San Pedrillo Station is a wet landing.
Our bilingual naturalist guide will lead the hike through the primary and secondary forest, locating and explaining the extensive rainforest wildlife and flora.
Corcovado has an unusual level of biological diversity that is not exceeded by any area of similar size on the planet. The area includes 25 to 30 ecosystems. May includes:
- As many as 4 types of monkeys, as well as coatis, sloths and anteaters.
-A wide variety of birds, including tanagers, flycatchers, kingfishers, manakins, trogons, crested guans, and spectacular scarlet macaws and toucans.
-Besides containing 140 species of Mammals (representing 10% of the mammal species of the American continent). Tapir, Jaguar, Puma and deer.
-More than 100 species of reptiles (crocodiles, snakes, iguanas) and amphibians (glass frog, poison toad)
-About 5500 insects.

After a lunch at the park ranger station, there is a second shorter hike to a beautiful waterfall - bring your bathing suit for a refreshing swim in the cool clear water!
